According to the report they offered to keep him on a vastly reduced wage. To be honest I’ve zero sympathy with the cunt.

I didn't realise until recently, he's never learned to drive! What an absolute side salad. Fuck him after the way he went after Yates.

Wasn’t there some rumours about Charlie being involved as well? Maybe that has something to do with it if true

The crash photo showed a baggie next to the RR but that could of been anything. Surely if the donkey had been caught with some sniff it would have been public? They offered him a reduced salary so it wasn't an outright sacking.

Meddling Mel has played a blinder here.

Not sure how it will hold up in a tribunal that they've sacked the smallest offender of the three.  It'll probably cost them more than his wages.

Maybe the club are looking at it from a different angle, Chaz. As club captain, should he have refused to get in a car with a drunk driving it? As club captain, should he have allowed the other two to drive, knowing the condition they were in? Maybe, as club captain, the club would have expected him to step up to the plate. That's the only gross misconduct I can eke out of this.

An employment tribunal will almost certainly find in favour of Derby.

He doesn't have a leg to stand on - literally!

He wouldn't in a 'was it fair to sack him kind of way', but there are rules about how you're treated in relation to other employees.
