Now, I know even admitting to watching this will get me slated by some off here, but let me run this by you.

The theme of this year's contest is "Celebrate Diveristy". Well I'm all up for a bit of that. Why then, are the three hosts all men?? All young men with dark hair, at that?

You mean in the whole of the Ukraine they couldn't find one attractive blonde woman to present the show?? What the hell?

Lviv - can you shed any light on this?

Ukranian or not you'd be better asking our mate Bummer about this one.

Now, I remember many years ago I made a post on here, or possibly Talkforest, about Eurovision. It was just a throwaway comment and somebody replied with a surprising amount of knowledge and strong opinions as though they were quite into Eurovision and it was something they took quite seriously. I'm pretty sure that person was none other than.........H-Block. Make of this what you will.....

The pic is Inculto, who represented Lithuania in 2010 with the classic song Eastern European Funk. When they took to the stage I feared the worst, but this proved to be a surprisingly catchy song which also included socio-political commentary regarding the plight of Eastern European workers in the EU. Ignore the spangly shorts and focus instead on the social commentary contained in lyrics such as "we've survived the reds and two World wars" and "Yes Sir, we are legal we are, though we are not as legal as you, No Sir we’re not equal no, though we are both from the EU, We build your homes and wash your dishes, Keep you your hands all soft and clean....."

It really is a Eurovision gem. Here is the link:

Yeah.....I think that might be too much knowledge

Lithuania are of course responsible for the only good Eurovision song:
