Week down in Cornwall for my honeymoon in July with possibly a weekend break following it to somewhere like Rome or Barcelona.

Also got a 6 day trip to Bratislava/Budapest in May for my stag.

The situation is what it is Natalie.

We don?t talk about love we only want to get drunk
And we are not allowed to spend
As we are told that this is the end

It is for her.

Nah but seriously I don't know why we put ourselves through it. The money involved is ridiculous and my main job for it is to reign her in. I'd be fine with a registry office job and spend the thousands we've saved on an awesome holiday.

The situation is what it is Natalie.

Tell me about it. If I think what I've spent on her engagement ring alone it almost makes me physically sick.

Her sister keeps sticking her oar in with suggestions which inevitably heap more cost on. I told her last week that when she starts paying towards the wedding I'll take her suggestions on board but til the she should stop being so nosey. That went down about as well as you'd expect.

I can't wait to get the whole thing over and done with.

I remember when we was getting married and being in a meeting and my phone was buzzing like a hornet. This was back in the days when people didn't just get their phones out whilst others were talking and rudely start checking a emails. Anyway I chanced a peep and it was saying please call me urgent. Can you call me ASAP etc. Anyway we was probably 15 grand up the road by this point so I said I urgently needed the toilet and popped out the room and called her - she was in a right state and said "we haven't got the ladies favours" which I later found out we're a little bag of sugared almonds you give to women who attend. I just went ol fuck off and hung up. Honestly the closer you get today the day the nuttier they will get about everything!

We got married on a Saturday and from the Wednesday before it I couldn't look at my wife, the sight of her freaked me out.  Her and her Mum did ours, I said she might as well have been marrying her Mum,  Both of 'em bossing me about for 9 or ten months.  Like your ER it cost about the same and half of that was on about 100 people that I've never seen before or since.  Anyway on the morning that we got married she sent her brother over to me with all these errands.  I said, I know it's not you but just fuck off.  Women and weddings are a ridiculous combination.

Jollies?  Probably not.  My mrs has racked up about 2 grand in various car related fines over the past three months.  That's eating in the jollies budget.

That's what I don't get about weddings, having to invite every fucker you've ever said hello to.

I've an uncle on my mum's side who I've seen probably twice in ten years. He's got a wife and 4 kids so inviting them whacks a few quid on in terms of food and that. I told mum he's not being invited and she almost had a breakdown about it.

If it was up to me I'd have my mum, dad, nan and, at a push, my sister and her tribe.

15 years in and still not married, fuck that rather buy a nice car or get a hair transplant for my baldness! Where as my cousin just turned 30 and has spunked 40 grand on two weddings already. Madness.

As for holidays going on a Rally of some sort in March to Paris and then Amsterdam and going to take in Brugges in on the way back. July going to fly out to see friends in Spain and August I'm hoping for Disneyworld.

You can't miss him. Big nose, massive ears with a soppy mouse on his head giving him instructions.
