Any of you boxing betting men care to advise me where my money should go on Joshua v Povektin tonight?

I’ve gone Joshua within 6 and on points. Povetkin has never been knocked out so I can see it going the distance.

Cheers Danny, very good of you. I've mirrored your bet and also slightly hedged my bets with Povetkin on points, purely because he hasn't been knocked out.

Well, there's one to boast about :arrowhead:

It's Fulham, Huddersfield and Cardiff going down isn't it? I don't ever remember it looking so obvious this early on which three are going (feel free to quote this when they all stay up....)

Yep. Cardiff will go down to the wire I think though but will just drop.

You can buy Burnley points at 30 now, there's virtually zero risk in that.

They looked much better in the last three games and I can see them grinding their was out of trouble in the next few weeks. Even if they go down they'll still get 30 surely?

I've been placing bets for over 40 years now Art, but I've never got into spread betting.

So, Burnley now have 30 pts. If you "brought" Burnley at 30 for ten quid, then every point they get from now on makes you a tenner? Every win from now on nets you 30 quid?

If so, well done mate. Cracking bet.

Yes, that's exactly how it works :)

I'm on a pretty good run at the moment and my next tip is this......You can lay Arsenal at less than 2/1 to finish top four. Value surely? I really can't see the Arse finishing above two of United, Tottenham, and Chelsea

Well, yeah, I can now. Above Chelsea anyway. I'd say it's 50/50 between the rest. Or 66/66/66 it that's a thing

Palace and Everton to draw - 12/5

Millwall and Stoke to draw - 2/1

Fulham to beat Cardiff - 13/10

Hull to beat Swansea - 6/1

Ipswich and draw (double chance) - 9/2

Not sure about the Ipswich one, but a good selection there...

I noticed the other day Man Utd were 6/1 to win at home. When I first started betting 6/1 would be a price for a bottom three team away at the champions - Now it's last year's runners up at home to Man City - Europe's 'most competitive league' there

Never in doubt

Burnley are 23/10 to beat Arse at the weekend. I usually avoid the end of season games with nothing on them but that looks a great price.

Also Everton are 11/4 to beat Tottenham, who will surely have their minds on other things......
