LETS ALL LAUGH AT DERBY!

Recommended Posts

i am involved with a community football club that has age groups u8 upto u16 and two senior teams, earlier in the season derby county offered us heavily reduced tickets for a match.

since then that have got back to the club and asked us to sell more tickets at reduced prices, if we sell 150 for them they will let the club train for 3 hours on pride park pitch on a weekend when they are away

seems they will sell their soul for a few quid

Nigels comments after another defeat, this time at relegation rivals Plymouth:

Derby manager Nigel Clough:

"We are very disappointed to lose but it was a very good performance. It's strange that sometimes you lose and yet you play that well.''

BBC says they had 55% of the possession. And yet, they still only managed ONE shot on goal.

Not quite 6 booked, but not a very good performance either, and one sent off.

6 players booked as well for them this evening, didn't we gey slapped with a hefty fine a few years back when we lost away to Cardiff? Pretty sure Harford was in charge for that one, think Hjelde was sent off as well mind??

I thought Hjelde went for two yellows rather than a red card and that we were fined for our disciplinary record not long after, although this may have been due to a culmination over the season, I was sat in the Cardiff end for that game and it was a miserable experience.

Nigel Clough defended his Derby players following another mass brawl at Pride Park, while his Swansea counterpart Paulo Sousa launched a thinly disguised attack on the match officials despite his side's 1-0 win.

At least 18 players were involved in a melee near Derby's right corner flag sparked by a wild two-footed lunge from substitute Gorka Pintado on Robbie Savage.

Pintado was sent off and although referee Steve Tanner took no action against any of the other players involved, Derby could still be in trouble because they are already facing an FA charge after a touchline flare-up during last month's game against Nottingham Forest.

But Clough, who had earlier seen Jay McEveley sent off for a second yellow card, said: "Our players did nothing out of order.

"The officials were right there in the corner when it all kicked off and didn't show one yellow card to any other player.

"They are right there and didn't see anything at all and they are the ones who are meant to be in control of it.

"We don't want our players to walk away from that situation, we expect them to support their team-mate in the manner they did.

What an absolute w@nker Nigel Clough is!!!

When you read through that article from Sky Sports, it appears that NC is following the Wimbledon "Crazy Gang", mentality. something BC absolutely loathed.

JESUS H. CHRIST ON A BIKE!!!! Have you seen the price of the plaque and statuette thing?

Five grand to get your name or company name put under their monument of Clough and Taylor? Aside from the fact that nobody in their right mind has that kind of cash to burn, wont a whole bunch of faceless names and pseudo adverts under it make the thing a monstrosity? Can you imagine our Cloughie statue with a plaque underneath stating "Sponsored by (Insert faceless corporation here)"???

"Be admired by future generations for decades to come"

Jesus fucking wept. I despair, I really do.

They always seem to do just enough to avoid relegation and sadly think it will continue. to be fair 680 isn't bad for them on a cold wednesday night and considering their shit season. they took 300 to Boro :laughingsmiley:
