Get in there. Don't even know what happened but who cares

    Forest v Derby

Very even first half as you'd expect. We've looked reasonably solid but our lack of creativity and threat really concerns me. Not just today but generally. I don't think Derby are up to much, particularly at the back but we just seem to be unable to put them under any real pressure.

Also you'd get strategic uses of it. So if you're under the cosh all your manager has to do is review a decision and you've got 3 minutes to regroup and kill the opposition momentum. Similarly if you're 1 goal up and it's the last 5 mins or so you'd just use the review to waste time. Just like they do now with subs and feigning injury as we all know the full amount if time stopped is never added back on. In fact if it's done in injury time it's as if the ref has forgotten about it sometimes and just blows on the same time anyway.
  12. You only have to look at satellite photos of the poles (particularly the Arctic) of now and 20/30 years ago to see how much impact we're having and how real it is. It won't stop either, humans as a species are instinctively greedy, selfish and not particularly great at forward-planning. While there's money to be made the destruction of the planet's resources (both plant and animal) will never stop.

    Forest v Derby

After the Barnsley game you asked me how many points we'd get from the next 8 games. Derby is the last of those and to be fair we didn't play Reading, but If we beat Derby (big if) we'd have 13. I said 12 so is that negative or realistic? You had us down getting 17 points, what happened to the old Dane who used to assume the worst?

    Forest v Derby

Scrappy 1-1 completely devoid of any quality.

    Forest v Luton

Ok so we're in agreement then that the general standard of refereeing is poor but that nobody has a set agenda against Forest?

    Forest v Luton

Good result. How did we play? I notice that nobody on here is moaning about how shit the ref was as it worked in our favour as these things tend to do over the course of the season. From the highlights it looked like Luton had two goals wrongly disallowed.

    Forest v Reading

Probably for the best. Get some players and a bit of work on the training ground in before our next game. Also saves 27,000 people watching a shower of shit in the pissing rain.

    Forest v Hull

Nobody has a knife out for SL. All I've said is I'm not wowed at this point due to patchy performances. Don't think that's particularly unfair. I'd rather say it as I see it instead of burying my head in the sand and blaming the ref each game.

    Forest v Hull

Well for starters, Adomah, a seasoned top end player at this level can't get in over Ameobi who is out of form. Lolley probably hasn't played as bad as he is at the moment since he was a child. I just don't see how a team containing Adomah/Ameobi, Lolley, Silva and Carvalho doesn't create anything. It just looks like we're driving with the brakes on.

Sabri still has to prove himself IMO. Some of the early results have been good but performances have been very patchy and he's made some weird decisions. I'm prepared to put up with it if the results are good but we hardly set the pulses racing under him. So if we're not winning and still playing dour, boring stuff then there's only one way that ends...

It rained as well which did us. Absolutely nothing to do with us being inept

Only seen the last 20 minutes or so but it's been terrible. No creativity as has been the case all season.

    Wigan v Forest

The problem is when your defence switches off (Wigan had a 4 v 2 for the goal) then you're going to struggle to get anything from games when you create so little. The 'keep it tight and snatch one' mentality was going to catch up with us eventually. And yet when you have Lolley, Ameobi, Silva and Carvalho or a combination of them we should be creating loads. I'm happy with SL as manager but I wish he'd let go of the reigns a bit and play a bit more through the midfield. Each game I watch we look as if we're more bothered about not conceding than scoring. It's not really vintage stuff. Yesterday proved what some on here have been saying for a while - that the squad recruitment has been about quantity over quality. Our back up players in some positions are barely League One standard. SL got the team and the system wrong. Let's hope he puts it right against Hull.
