im no fan of f1, but i have a 100 percent record.

I wagered that vettell would win the season schumacher came back. Money was flying on that guy. so i got vettell 9-2 to win outright.

good bets jeynesey

Im back to evens this week, had 10 on everton pool to be under 2.5 goals, only for gerrard to score in last second. I deserved it thgough everton fielded a weak team for the fa cup.

But saw chelsea were 2-1 just to qualify.

So smacked 4 quid on that and hey presto.#

kell brook v matthew hatton, which im actually going to. i WAS VERY tempted to go for hatton as he was 9-2 on. Also he went up against the ginger mexican saul alvez and survived

But trutherly i think kell brook is better but will have some scares in this fight.

11/10 kell brook by points ten pounds.

Luckily I'm only betting because I got a £50 100% match bonus so I only need to break even, which is what it looks like I'll do on those bets. Everything in pre season suggested Red Bull were still ahead so it's a lesson to learn anyway. Jean Eric Verne's going to be the fun one for me to keep an eye on all season. He was 11th for the last 15 or so laps, so I was hoping for a drop out. We got one on the last lap, then it all kicked off and he dropped 3 places and Ricciardo overtook him, so it went from 1 point up to 2 points down in the last couple of corners. Bugger :P

withdrew my winnings, left ten quid in, and put a mathematical bet that could be very good...but illl let you guy know tommoro as if it comes off.

jeynesey im tempted to put on vettell as im hopiung money will fly on button and hamilton as outright winners. Often redbull adapt the car better than anyone else. Should i wait???

You seem very knowledgable about f1 and since i fluked a 100 percent record i feel its a sport where you can make money if you know what you n about. which you appear to do.

Your insight would be greatly appreciated mate :)

I wouldn't touch it to be honest. I wouldn't have said Red Bull develop better than anyone else - they've just started and ended strong for the last couple of years. According to the commentary today, if you win the first race you tend to win the championship but again, that's a kind of throw away observation just because Vettel did last year and Button did 3 years ago.

I don't know that much anyway. I read a tip saying that McLaren were a good bet for the constructors, then I went and bet on Red Bull anyway... The season vs stuff I just thought was nailed on apart from Verne, who I just bet on for shits and giggles because I saw him win a karting event with a few of F1 guys in it.

Anyway, I dunno... it's not easy to bet on this early in the season because the teams make so many changes. Mercedes have a weird diffuser with a hole in it, which everyone will probably copy and apparently some tubes that feed air to the front of the car. If everyone copies that, it'll suit some cars better than others. If it suited Red Bull then they might be back in it pretty early doors but if it suited McClaren they'll be steaming off into the distance for a few races.

If you absolutely have to bet on something right now I would go for Hamilton overall championship at 3/1 and Grosjean to outscore Raikonen season points at 10/3.

Do you bet with match bonuses by the way? I know you say you bet for fun and not to win money but if that's the case you might as well just write your bets in an excel spreadsheet for a laugh... plenty of people give you free bets all the time, so that's the only way I will ever bet anything.

i bet to make money but in a fun way. I win, but ill win pub money, as ill only bet what i can afford.ill never be the one who wins thousands on a acumalator, as i dont do that stuff.

I am the guy that can win 80 quid from a fiver, from snooker, or golf etc.

Not sure if this counts but tried poker online, with 10 quid in. and ended up with 50 quid. Ive only got into poker the last year. So im very much a beginner, but im good at reading hands when on form. And spotting betting patterns.

I think sports betting and poker are about equal in luck, obviously depending on the sport.

You do seem a coniseur jeynesey, perhaps we should start some mma predictions, as ive not followed that in a while, and i reckon youll give me some good insight mate.

Who do you normally bet with? You should be able to get better than that. Paddy Power have been top 6 each way recently.

I'm going with Bubba Watson this week in the tipster thing. He's normally a bit hit and miss but he's been top 20 last five events, should have won the other week, and has a decent record in this. Finger crossed....

had a horrific beat down yesterday. Had chelsea winning, and bet liverpool to win, using the logic of form and momentum(and all that). both were leading over 65 minutes, infact liverpool were 2-0 against QPR with 13 to go and lost. You cant legistate for luck lke that.

So im dusting myself and ve gone for jim furyk and charles howell. Both showed solid form this year, and jim had a good tourney last week.

Had els in the transitional, and the moron bogied the last two holes, i was 2 holes away from winning 135 punds from 4 quid each way.

Yet i seem to be involved in the miriacle stuff against me, like the chelsea 3-0 against manure and the maguire 7-3 against ronnie

Comon art one of us has to nail the masters surely...

I'm no expert at F1, slim, certainly no expert at betting on it. With MMA I am breakeven at betting at best. There are so many events nowadays that it's hard to keep up and have any sort of worthwhile knowledge. There are odd fights that are easy to call but other than that, it's getting harder and harder now it's more mainstream.

I've got one $5 bet on tomorrow, that there will be a safety car at 2/3. I wouldn't put any race bets on though, given that there's very often a torrential downpour. I did end up putting $3 on Hamilton and Grosjean bets mentioned above but I regretted the Grosjean one as soon as I pressed the button :)

nobody won any money on the last F1 i guarantee you

I backed both Mercedes drivers and at one point i am sure Rosberg was going backwards

its better when it drys out and Mercedes will be worth a few each way bets

Just put $5 on Maldonado over Senna season points at 5/6. Pretty confident in that one as a tip.

and $5 on Kimi over Schumacher at 4/6.

I went for Baddeley too in the tipster competition. First day ruined by the weather, hope they don't end up only doing three days, I hate it when that happens :thumbsdown_still:

For anyone betting on the Masters Paddy Power are refunding losing bets if Woods wins.

Anyone have any bets on the Masters? I had a few free bets and stuck them on Mickleson ( :thumbsup_still: ) and each way on Keegan Bradley ( :thumbsdown_still: ). I thought I'd bet on Bubba Watson a while ago when I saw he was 80/1 but I think I forgot to actually put it on ( :arrowhead:)

i nailed it with mick as well, got him 16-1 ew. While the over priced woods was favourite based on absolute nothing...oh he won a tourney where none of the gbest players were there, and hes won 6 times before. wow.

Glad bubba won, hes a real character.

I'm doing a £5 to £1000 challenge at the moment. The idea being that you start on 5 quid and bet on something evens, it should be doable in about 7 bets (and I think on the 6th you bank around £250 also).

Had Man U to beat Wigan and Arsenal to beat Wolves last night. Evens. Absolutely nailed on surely. And of course United lost, wankers. Back on the £5 I go. So pissed off :D
