Well like any other gloating Forest fan keen to soak himself in LCFC's misery, at the final whistle yesterday I immediately tuned into BBC Radio Leicester.

Alan Young and the commentator were wollowing in grief, Young mentioning scaffolding and ropes etc and as they poured through the missed penalty, missed rebound and then how on earth did we concede that, the scene was set. They set up the phone in, with take it easy on Knocky, what a great season, so close but so far and everything was somber and very supportive.

" Now lets open the lines, and our first caller is Tony from Nottingham"

Straight away I thought c++t shouldn't be allowed a fester fan in our great City but then this warm glow of shear self indulgence shone through. I paraphrase:

" Leicester were lucky to get into the play offs anyway, completely out classed, you're going bust because you're way over the FFP and all your best players are leaving mostly on free transfers. Next season you'll be way behind the mighty Nottingham Forest.

Just what every LCFC fan wanted to hear in their moment of grief, lol!!!!!!

Jim Price - Billy's advisor

Looks like Billy has landed his advisor and cousin a very plum new job?! (Obviously caveat it's the Daily Mail).

Not sure if this is a healthy thing for the club.

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies — fresh from holding his press conference before Saturday’s loss to Leicester City because he said he was going to be too busy afterwards — is now in the powerful position of having his solicitor agent and cousin Jim Price effectively as acting chief executive.

Price, who is likely to be confirmed in that role, says: ‘I only answer to the owners. While I’m at Forest, it’s been agreed any personal football business involving Billy is dealt with by another representative to avoid any conflict.’

End of season stats - Forest support

Creditable season from our fans this year, we're 4th in the home league averages and 3rd in the away support league.

I fancy our average could go up again (increase on last season) next season with the Bridgford End being used by Forest fans, providing they get the pricing system right. With less away fans seemingly coming there will need to be more Forest fans to cover that shortfall.

Next Season Goals

Looking forward: what needs to change

Same manager for entire season - even if we get off to a slow start. It's a long, long season.
Goal of eighty points and automatic promotion. Screw playoffs. We suck at them.
Less draws - home and away - Cardiff 12 draws Hull 7 draws, Forest 16 draws. We need to get three points more often.
More away wins - at least ten. Eight draws away from home - if half were wins, we'd be much closer to automatic promotion.
More home wins - at least half of the home games - twelve or thirteen.
A goal-scoring machine - anyone who can score twenty plus goals in a season.
If we can't score goals, then concede less - we need at least a twenty goal positive goal difference. Would've helped today.
Better results against the better teams: seven teams finished above us - we played then 14 times in total and won TWO. Drew SEVEN and LOST 5.
Stop conceding the first goal!
Complete and utter faith that Forest deserve to be a Premier League Team and that the Chamionship is beneath us!

...will all of our loanees be eligible to play? Would hate to see a repeat of the Shorey/Perch left back fiasco again.

Can Ward, Hutchinson, Sharp & Henderson (and anyone else I may have forgotten) play up to the Wembley final if we get there?
